Radon’s Tech specs
Radon is an odorless, colorless, radioactive gas that is naturally occurring in the environment. It can be found in soil and rocks and can enter homes through cracks in floors or walls, construction joints, or openings around service pipes. Radon exposure increases the risk of lung cancer.

Who We Serve
We provide comprehensive radon testing and mitigation services for residential and commercial properties in Colorado.
Why Pueblo West Homes Should Test for Radon
Pueblo West is in Pueblo County, an EPA Radon Zone 1 county. The EPA predicts average indoor screening levels above 4 pCi/L for Zone 1 counties. CDPHE reports that about half of all Colorado homes test above that action level. Geologically, the U.S. Geological Survey documents uranium in the Dakota Sandstone in northwestern Pueblo County and low-level uranium in the Dakota Group aquifer of the Cañon City embayment, which extends into Pueblo County. None of that predicts your home's level. Radon varies from lot to lot, so testing is the only way to know.
Pueblo West Homes: Foundations & System Design
Pueblo West's large lots include ranch homes with full or partial basements, slab-on-grade homes, crawl spaces, and manufactured homes. We design the system around your foundation:
- Basement or slab: sub-slab active soil depressurization with a roof-line discharge.
- Crawl space or manufactured home: a sealed vapor barrier with sub-membrane suction.
- Combination foundations: multiple suction points tied into one fan.
We're based in Pueblo West, at 32 N. Silicon Dr., so estimates and follow-up visits are local.

Fantastic service and our radon is mitigated!! We were moving from Wisconsin to Pueblo West, and needed our new home tested for radon. Well, our test for radon came back well over the EPA’s “action level”, so we hired ExperTech to install a mitigation system ASAP. We are very pleased with our new system and we'd absolutely recommend ExperTech to anyone looking for a top-notch radon mitigation specialist in Colorado!
